About

Online Therapy to Help You Feel Stronger, Calmer, and More in Control

Meet Ana Ruiz, MS, LMFT

Founder of Well Mind California | Licensed Psychotherapist

About Me Hi, I’m Ana. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a teacher, where I found deep joy in nurturing the growth and potential of children. Over time, I realized that true, lasting change begins with emotional well-being—not just for children, but for the adults who care for them. This realization guided me from the classroom into the field of mental health.

As a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (English/Spanish), I bring that same dedication to my private practice, Well Mind California . I understand that reaching out for support can feel uncertain, and my goal is to create a culturally responsive space where you feel safe, seen, and understood.

My Therapeutic Approach

In our sessions, you will never be judged or rushed. Instead, we work together at your pace to explore your story, your strengths, and the patterns that shape your life. My approach is grounded in:

Trauma-Informed Care:

prioritizing your safety and stabilization.

Compassion:

offering a supportive environment for healing.

Cultural Responsiveness:

honoring your background and language.

I want therapy to feel like a place where you can breathe a little easier—where you can build the tools you need to move forward with balance, peace, and confidence.

Clients I Support

I work with both children and adults who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious. My experience allows me to support a wide range of needs, including:

Children & Teens:

Learning to manage big emotions, behavioral issues, and school-related challenges.

Adults:

Navigating stress, life transitions, depression, and trauma.

Families:

Strengthening parenting skills, attachment, and adoption/foster care dynamics.
